Siraj Uddin Mia new Principal Secretary to Chief Adviser

Md Siraj Uddin Mia has been appointed as new Principal Secretary to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus for a two-year term on contractual basis.


The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday.

The notification said Siraj Uddin Miah has been appointed for a two-year term, effective from his date of joining. As part of this appointment, he is required to sever any other professional, business, or work relationships with government, semi-government, or private institutions and organizations.

Other terms of this appointment would be determined by the approved contract.

The order was issued in the public interest, reads the notice, reports UNB.
