Khulna, Nov 11 - A 10-feet python was released in the Sundarbans after rescuing from an area in Koyra upazila of Khulna on Sunday.

Locals said they spotted the snake behind the house of one Samad Gazi in Maheshwaripur village on Sunday afternoon.

Being informed, a patrol team of the forest department in Khulna’s Koyra range came to the spot and rescued the snake.

Mohammad Monirul Islam, station officer of Baniakhali Forest said they released the snake in the presence of the local public representatives and others.-UNB
