Saudi envoy meets Khaleda

Saudi envoy with BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia



Dhaka, Nov 25 - Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa bin Youssef Al-Duhailan met BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on Monday night.

The Saudi envoy came to the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office around 8 pm to meet her.

Khaleda’s personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member Professor Dr AZM Jahid Hossain, along with her advisory council member Dr Enamul Haque Chowdhury, were present at the meeting.

This is the first meeting of Khaleda with any foreign envoy since she had been sent to jail on February 8, 2018.-UNB
