Obaidul Quader's Foster Son Arrested in Murder Case

Asaduzzaman Hiru, who claims to be the foster son of former Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader, was arrested in connection with a murder case.


Hiru was detained by Gulshan police around midnight on January 15, following a case filed at the Badda police station, according to Amin Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP's Gulshan Division.

Sources at the Gulshan police station also revealed that Hiru faces accusations of funding activities against the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
