Former BGMEA President Mostafa Golam Quddus Passes Away

Mostafa Golam Quddus, the former president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and chairman of Dragon Group, passed away early this morning (25 January).


In a heartfelt announcement on Facebook, Sheikh Mohammad Danial, his son-in-law, shared, "With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mostafa Golam Quddus, at 6:40 am. He was not only a former president of BGMEA and chairman of Dragon Group but also a distinguished member of the Bangladesh Police. His legacy as a visionary leader and compassionate philanthropist will live on."

His first namaz-e-janaza will take place after Zuhr at Azad Masjid in Gulshan, Dhaka. A second janaza will be held later in the day at the family’s ancestral home in Mia Bazar, Chauddagram, Cumilla, following Maghrib prayers. He will be laid to rest there.
