Philippine Envoy Meets CA to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Philippine Ambassador Nina P. Cainglet paid a courtesy visit to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna today, where they discussed strengthening the ties between the Philippines and Bangladesh.

According to Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, the two leaders engaged in a productive conversation on ways to enhance bilateral relations, focusing on expanding trade, commerce, and potential Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to foster collaboration across various sectors.

The discussions also highlighted promising areas for increased cooperation, particularly in agriculture and education. Both sides expressed a shared optimism about the future of Philippine-Bangladesh relations, emphasizing the potential for mutual growth.

Ambassador Cainglet extended the full support of the Philippine government to Bangladesh's Interim Government, conveying warm regards from President Bongbong Marcos and the people of the Philippines.
