Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today distributed houses among the flood affected people of four districts in the country.
A total of 300 houses, built under a special housing project for flood victims, were distributed among them in Feni, Noakhali, Cumilla and Chattogram districts.
On behalf of the chief adviser, the deputy commissioners of the districts handed over the keys of houses among the beneficiaries.
Prof Yunus virtually addressed the house handover ceremonies, arranged at the four districts from the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) here.
A total of 110 houses were distributed among the beneficiaries in Feni, while 90 houses in Noakhali, 70 houses in Cumilla and 30 houses in Chattogram.
Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman also spoke, among others, at the function at the CAO end.
Senior civil and military officials were present on the occasion.
Bangladesh Army implemented the special housing project, reports BSS.
