All the public and private offices will be reopened on Thursday (May 5) after six days of holiday on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

All the public and private offices will be reopened on Thursday (May 5) after six days of holiday on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest Muslim religious festival across the country.

April 29 and 30 were weekly holidays. International Workers' Day (May 1) was observed. Then, the three-day Eid vacation (May 2, 3, and 4) made the holiday six days long.

However, if any officials take May 5 (Thursday) as optional holiday, then it will add two more holidays stretching the vacation to a total of nine days.

The Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslims, was celebrated in the country with religious fervour and zeal on Tuesday, maintaining health guidelines.
