The body of Shaheed Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, arrived in Bangladesh on Friday evening (19 December). His funeral prayer (janaza) will be held on Saturday afternoon in the Parliament Complex area.

This information was disclosed on Friday (19 December) by the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser.

The statement said that the janaza prayer of Shaheed Osman Hadi will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:30 pm at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building. Those wishing to attend the janaza are specially requested not to carry any bags or heavy items.

At the same time, it has been informed for everyone concerned that flying drones in and around the Parliament Building will be completely prohibited during this time.

Earlier, Sharif Osman Hadi, convener of Inqilab Mancha, died on Thursday night at around 9:45 pm while undergoing treatment in Singapore after being shot.

It is worth noting that Sharif Osman Hadi was shot on the afternoon of 20 December while campaigning as a potential candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency in the national election. He was critically injured as the bullet passed through his head. In critical condition, he was first taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later to the ICU of Evercare Hospital. After three days, on Monday afternoon, he was taken to Singapore for advanced treatment.
