Ruman, Diya lose to USA

Dhaka, 24 June  - Despite an impressive performance against Brazil, Bangladesh archery team lost to USA by 3-5 set points in the pre quarterfinal of Recurve Mixed Team event of Archery World Cup Stage-3 held on Thursday last night in Paris, France.

The Bangladesh archery team featuring Ruman Sana and Diya Siddique earlier confirmed their spot of pre quarterfinal defeating Brazil by 5-4 set points in the round of 1/12 match.

In the Recurve men's individual event, Ruman Sana lost to his South Korean rival Oh Jin Hyek by 2-6 set points while Hakim Ahmed Rubel lost to his Japanise rival Kuwae Yoshito by 3-7 set points in their respective round of 1/16 matches.

In the Recurve women's individual event, Diya Siddique lost to her Denmark rival Andersen Kirstine by 4-6 set points in the round of 1/16 match.
