Three more final round matches of Youth hockey held

Dhaka, 30 Nov - Three more final round matches of Al-Arafah Islami Bank National Youth Hockey held today (Wednesday) at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city.

On day’s final round matches, Thakurgaon district team beat Khulna district team by 2-1 goals, Bangladesh Krira Shikka Prothistan thrashed Sylhet district by 10-0 goals and Cox’s Bazar district crushed Netrokona District team by 13-0 goals.

Earlier, the first phase of the tournament began in September  with a record 57 district teams initially competed at nine zonal venues across the country.

The nine zonal venues are Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Narail, Dinajpur, Joypurhat, Faridpur, Cumilla and Chattogram.
