National Women's Chess begins next Wednesday

DHAKA- The 40th National Women's Chess Championship will

begin on Wednesday ( Dec 29 ) at the National Sports Council old building at
3 pm.   


Organised by the Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by the Abul Khair
Group, participation in the National Women's Chess is open to women and girls
of all ages and there is no fee to participate.  


The interested women and girls' players have been asked to submit their names
to the Bangladesh Chess Federation by Tuesday ( Dec 28).   


The championship match will be played in a 9 or 10 round Swiss-league format.BSS
