BOA mourns death of kabaddi player Zakir

Dhaka, 16 Nov -Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Md. Zakir Hossain, the former national kabaddi player of Bangladesh kabaddi team.

Zakir Hossain passed away today in the city's Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) hospital at around 7 am at the age of 39, said a press release.

In a condolence message, BOA President and Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP (Bar), OSP, NDU,PSC, PHD, it's Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza, officials and employees of BOA expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Zakir and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
