Olympic Solidarity Sports Administrators Course inaugurated in Moulvibazar
Dhaka, 6 Dec - In order to conduct the district sports organizations more efficiently and effectively, to increase the efficiency of the sports organizers and to strengthen the Olympic movement, a course titled "Olympic Solidarity Sports Administrators Course" was inaugurated Wednesday in Moulvibazar District Sports Association (DSA) meeting room, said a press release.
The five-day course, organized by Bangladesh Olympic Association, was formally inaugurated by Moulvibazar DSA's president and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Urmy Binte Salam.
Moulvibazar District Council chairman and Moulvibazar District Sports Association General Secretary Michbahur Rahman presided over the opening ceremony.
Prabhanshu Som Mahan, additional deputy commissioner (general) and Moulvibazar DSA vice president Mahbub Izdani Imran and DSA's Joint general secretary, Hasan Ahmed Jabed, were among others, present on the occasion.
They said course will be conducted by BOA's national course director Retd. additional secretary, Mosharraf Hossain Mollah, and Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Siddiqui, Retd. director, directorate of immigration and passport and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan's retd. director Farukul Islam.
A total of 25 trainees from Moulvibazar DSA are participating in this program.
