Mohammedan go goal feast in premier hockey

Dhaka, April-Mohammedan Sporting Club registered a massive victory in their opening super six match of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League crushing Ajax Sporting Club by 9-2 goals held at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Friday.

Malaysian recruit Fayjal Bin Sarri slammed a brilliant hat-trick with three goals while Dwin Islam Emon, Shohidul Haque Saikat, Russell Mahmud Jimmy, Mehedi Hasan Ovi and two Malaysian recruits Fitri Bin Sari and Faiz Helmi Bin Jali supported him with one goal each for Mohammedan in the one sided affairs.

While Shimul Khan and Indian recruit Silhaiba Lisham netted one goal apiece for Ajax.

Earlier, in the day's first match, Abahani Limited started their super six campaign with a massive win as they thrashed Bangladesh Police Sporting Club by 7-0 goals also held at the same venue.
