BOA mourn death of ex CCC mayor Nasir's mother

DHAKA - Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Fatema Zohara Begum, mother of BOA councilor, former mayor of Chattogram City Corporation and Chattogram City Awami League General Secretary AJM Nasir Uddin.

Zohara Begum breathed her last at 9.30 am today while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chattogram. She was 90.

In a condolence message, BOA president and Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, NDU, PSC, PHD, BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza, officials and employees of BOA expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Fatema Zohara Begum and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, different sports federations in press releases, also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Fatema Zohara Begum.BSS
