BHF’s EC meeting to be held Thursday

DHAKA - Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) will hold it’s 13th executive committee’s meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday (Feb 3) at Falcon Hall in the city’s Tejgaon.                                                                          
BHF’s president and Chief of Air Staff Shaikh Abdul Hannan BBP, BUP, NSWC FAWC, PSC will preside over the meeting which will begin at 12 noon to discuss two agendas ahead of the two upcoming international events to be participated by the national hockey team.

Talking to BSS today (Tuesday), BHF’s acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf said the national hockey team will compete AHF Cup Hockey in Indonesia and Asian Games in China and ahead of the two international events, the meeting will discuss with two agendas in order to take decision for the national team.

Yousuf informed that in the meeting a decision will be made to appoint coaches for the national team as well as to fix a probable date to start the national team’s training camp.

The AHF Cup Hockey will take place in Jakarta from March 1-8 while the Asian Games will be held from September 10-25 in Hangzhou. BSS
