National Women's Handball begins tomorrow

Dhaka, 2 June- The Exim Bank 35th National Women's Handball competition begins Monday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city.

Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest. Exim Bank Limited director Md Nurul Amin Faruk and its managing director Maksuda Khanon will be present there as the special guests.

A total of 23 District Sports Association and services teams, split into eight groups, will take part in the competition, sponsored by EXIM Bank PLC and organised by BHF.

The participating teams:

Group A - Bangladesh Ansar and VDP and Naogaon DSA.
Group B - Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Feni DSA and Satkhira DSA.
Group C - Dhaka DSA, Kushtia DSA and Bogura DSA.
Group B - Jessore DSA, Rangamati DSA and Rangpur DSA.
Group E - Madaripur DSA, Bagerhat DSA and Panchagarh DSA.
Group F - Jamalpur DSA, Gazipur DSA and Thakurgaon DSA.
Group G - Dinajpur DSA, Faridpur DSA and Cumilla DSA.
Group H - Narail DSA, Narayanganj DSA and Habiganj DSA.
