Eight more of national women's handball decided

Dhaka, 5 June- Eight more matches of the Exim Bank 35th National Women's Handball competition were decided on the third Wednesday held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.

On the day, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP beat Narayanganj DSA by 73-5 goals, Dhaka DSA defeated Thakurgaon DA by 36-8 goals, Bangladesh Police Handball Club outplayed Dinajpur DSA by 64-13 goals, Jessore DSA overpowered Bagerhat DSA by 31-2 goals, Madaripur DSA beat Rangpur DA by 27-17 goals, Jamaplur DSA defeated Kushtia DSA by 18-6 goals, Faridpur DSA outclassed Feni DSA by 11-5 goals, Naogaon DSA beat Narail DSA by 17-2 goals.

Meanwhile, the quarterfinals and semifinals of the competition will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at the same venue.

A total of twenty three District Sports Association and services teams, split into eight groups, are taking part in the competition, sponsored by EXIM Bank PLC and organised by BHF.
