Tiger Golf Club holds special get-together

Dhaka, 29 June  - The Tiger Golf Club (TGC), renowned among foreign expats, diplomats, and local golf enthusiasts, has organized a special get-together and hosted a dinner to its members and foreign diplomats in the city.

A number of diplomats from various foreign missions in Dhaka, including 11 ambassadors and high commissioners, joined the function at a city hotel on Friday evening and extended their warm wishes and camaraderie to the TGC, said a press release.

Supported by EduQuest, an education consultancy firm, the event marked a heartfelt welcome to the new members of the club.

During the gathering, the club exemplified its commitment to social responsibility by contributing Taka 1 lakh to the education of marginalized ball boys.

Indonesian Ambassador to Bangladesh and President of TGC Heru Hartanto Subolo and British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, alternate President of the club Sarah Cooke and Vice President of TGC Brigadier General Md Manzur Qader (retd) spoke at the function.
 
The evening was featured with intermittent flute music, special golf arrangements for lady guests and a raffle draw.
