Seventeen archers get annual performance bonus

Dhaka, 13 Feb  - Seventeen archers got the annual performance bonus 2021 following their performance through a formal ceremony held today (Sunday) at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi.

 Bangladesh Archery Federation’s (BAF) president Lieutenant General Mohammad Mainul Islam (retd.) handed over the cheque of Taka  4,12, 250 (Taka four lacs twelve thousand, two hundred and fifty) among the archers through a ceremony, organized by BAF, under the patronization of City Ground under ‘Teer go for gold project.”      
Martin Frederick, head coach of the national archery team, set the rules for performance bonus and the amount of the bonus for the archers. The annual performance bonus payment was started in 2019 last.
 It can be mentioned that the bonus has been based on the performance of the following championships. The champions are Archery World Cup Stage-2 (Switzerland), Asia Cup Stage-1 (Korea), Teer 22nd Asian Archery Championships (Dhaka), Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games (Dhaka), Bangabandhu 12th Teer National Archery Championships (Cox's Bazar), National Youth Championship (Tongi, Gazipur) and Qualification for World Cup.

BAF general secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, BAF’s treasurer Anisur Rahman Dipu, sponsor City Group’s brand manager Rubaiyat Ahmed and BAF’s members were also present on the occasion.
