Asif Mahmud appointed as adviser of Youth and Sports Ministry

Dhaka, 9 Aug - Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan has been made the adviser of Youth and Sports Ministry of the Interim government headed by Nobel Laureate Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus.

     He was given this responsibility through a gazette notification that was published in this regard today (Friday).

     Asif Mahmud is one of the key organizers of quota reform protest that later turned into an anti-government movement, which eventually toppled the Sheikh Hasina-led governmen.
