Minakkhi, Mazhar emerge champions in DRU swimming

Dhaka,  24 Oct- Minakkhi Chowdhury of Bangladesh Television emerged champion in women’s section swimming event of the ongoing Walton-Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Sports Festival held at Ivy Rahman Swimming Complex on Thursday, said a press release.   

Sajida Islam Parul of Samakal finished runner-up while Naznin Akter Lucky of News Now became third in this event.

Mazharul Islam Mithun of Independent Television emerged champion in the men’s section swimming and Jafar Iqbal of Daily Sangram finished runner-up while Redowanul Haque of Protidiner Bangladesh finished this position.

The women's 100m race and men's 200m race and shot put competition will be held on Saturday (Oct 26) at Paltan Outer Field.
