School Handball quarterfinals to be held tomorrow
Dhaka, 9 Nov -The quarterfinals of Tasmery Under-14 School Handball tournament (boy’s and girl’s) will be held Sunday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital.
In the girl’s section quarterfinal matches, Viqarunnisa Noon School face Navy College, Shere Bangla Girl’s College meet Scholastica Uttara, Sunnydale take on Heed International School and Wills Little Flower School meet Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar College.
While in the boy’s section quarterfinal matches, Sunnydale meet South Point School and College, Narinda Govt.
High School play against Uttar Kafrul High School, Nirjhar Cantonment Public School face Mitali Bidyapith High School and Saint Gregory High School take on Ideal School Motijheel.
The semifinals and final of the competition will be held on Monday (Nov 11) at the same venue.
A total of 28 schools handball teams of Dhaka Metropolis –16 of boys’ and 12 of girls’ – are participating in the meet, sponsored by Tasmery Group and organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation.
