Dhaka, 15 Nov- Jubo Krirashebi Kalyan Foundation has come forward to stand beside the family of late Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman Zia in their time of hardship.
Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain will hand over the cheque of Taka 2 lacs to Zia’s family tomorrow.
Earlier, on Thursday last, Tamim Iqbal stood beside the family of late Grandmaster Zia by handing over a cheque for Taka five lakh to his family.
Grandmaster Zia died from massive cardiac arrest on July 5 last this year during the round 12 game of the 48th National Chess Championship 2024.
