Ambassador Cup Washu to begin Friday

Dhaka, 19 Nov- The 6th China- Ambassador Cup Washu competition will begin from Nov 22 at Army Stadium Multipurpose Shade in the city's Banani, said a press release.

Brigadier General Md Humayun Kabir, chairman of the army sports regulation board, is expected to inaugurate the two-day meet as the chief guest, sponsored by Embassy of China in Bangladesh and organized by Bangladesh Washu Federation (BWF). 

Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh, will be present in the opening ceremony. 

BWF acting president Sheikh Efaz Ahmed will preside over the opening ceremony while general secretary Dulal Hossain will conduct the opening programme.

Nearly two hundred players and officials from Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Post Office will take part in the competition.
