Wuchaiwang Marma brings silver for Bangladesh

Bandarban, 10 Dec - Wuchaiwang Marma, an eighth-grader student of Quantum Cosmo School of Bandarban, won silver in the World Mathematics Team
Championship, an international mathematics competition, held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, recently.

A mathematics team from Bangladesh participated in the 12th edition of this event where Wuchaiwang Marma was a member of the team.

The students of Quantum Cosmo School participated in the World Mathematics
Team Championship for the first time. Four students of this school won the national level. Later, Wuchaiwang Marma was selected decisively for the international tournament.

Wuchaiwang won the silver medal in the junior category of the competition
from November 28 to December 1. He was accompanied by Armaan Malik, Fatima
Zahra Sheikh and Jannatul Ferdous Naushin in this department.

After winning the silver medal, he said: "I am very happy to get the silver
medal by participating in math competition in Doha."

In his success, Bandarban's Quantum Cosmo School and College Headmaster Md.
Nur Hossain said, "Wuchaiwang used to practice math whenever he got a chance
at the end of class. Seeing his practice, we decided to stand beside him ...
He brought the reputation of Quantum Cosmo School and Bangladesh."
