Police, Ansar reach final in V-Day kabaddi

Dhaka, 23 Dec -Bangladesh Police team and Bangladesh Ansar and VDP reached women’s section final of the Victory Day Kabaddi competition eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinals held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium today.

The final will be held Tuesday at the same venue at 4 pm.
In the keenly contested first semifinal, Police beat Border Guard Bangladesh by 41-35 points after trailing the first half by 20-18 points.

Sraboni Mollik of Police team was named the best player of the match for her impressive performance.

While Ansar confirmed their spot of final defeating Narail district 43-18 points in the second semis after leading the first half by 17-10 points.

Smriti Akhter of Ansar was given the best player award for her outstanding performance in the match.
