Six matches of V-Day Handball decided

Dhaka, 26 Dec - Six more matches -- four of men's and two of 

women's -- of the Victory Day Handball competition (men's and women's) were 
held on the Thursday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National 
Handball Stadium.

In the day's men's section first round matches, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) 
beat Handball Dhaka team by 37-6 points after leading the first half by 20-3 
points, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated National Youth Handball team by 47-
27 points after dominating the first half by 24-11 points, National Junior 
Handball Team outclassed Team Handball Dhaka by 25-25 goals after dominating 
the first half by 14-8 goals and Bangladesh Police Handball Club outclassed 
National Youth Handball Club by 30-20 goals after leading the first half by 
21-12 goals.

In the women's section group matches, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP beat Handball 
Training Center Dhaka by 29-11 goals while Bangladesh Police Handball Club 
outclassed VAS Sports Club by 24-15 goals after dominating the first half by 
13-8 goals. 
 
Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) organised the competition that is being 
held marking the victory day.

Both the men's and women's section final matches will be held tomorrow 
(Friday) at the same venue.
