Dhaka, 25 Feb - Bangladesh national Kabaddi team shrugged off their previous match defeat as they bounced back to beat visiting Nepal by 42-37 points taking 2-1 lead of the five-match kabaddi test series held at Palton ground adjoining the national stadium in the capital Tuesday.
The winners’ reserved the first period of play by taking a
narrow 20-17 points lead at the breather.
Dipayan Golder of Bangladesh was named the best player of
the match for his impressive performance. Bangladesh Kabaddi
Federation (BKF) joint Secretary Israel Howlader handed over
the man of the match prize to Dipayan.
BKF general secretary SM Newaz Sohag was present in the
prize distribution ceremony.
Earlier, Bangladesh took a 1-0 lead in the series beating
Nepal by 53-29 points in the first match.
Nepal however staged a brilliant fight back as they defeated
Bangladesh by narrow margin of 45-42 points in the second
match to level the series 1-1.
The fourth match of the series will be held Wednesday at the same venue.BSS
