Kishorganj, BKSP move to women's hockey final
Dhaka, 21 March -Kishorganj district and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) stormed into the final of the BRAC Bank Development Cup Women's Hockey held at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium here in the capital today.
The final of the competition will be held Saturday at the same venue at 2 pm, following the place-deciding match between Jashore district and Rajshahi district at 9:30 am.
In the day's first semifinal, Kishorganj district beat Jashore district by 2-1 goals in the first semi-final while BKSP thrashed Rajshahi district by 12-0 goals in the second semis.
Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation, a total of eleven teams --ten district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP)-- split into two groups are participating in the meet.
The participating teams:
Group A - Dinajpur district, Jashore district, Chattogram district, Patuakhali district, and Rajshai district.
Group B - BKSP, Jhenaidah district, Thakurgaon district, Rangpur district, Cumilla district and Kishorganj district.
