Dhaka, 24 March - The women's squash coaching

camp, organized by Bangladesh Squash Federation, was held
successfully.

Pakistani coach Abdul Basit provided the training with
utmost professionalism in the camp held at the Army
Officers' Mess Squash Complex in the capital on Monday.

A total of fifteen promising young women from across the
country participated in the coaching camp, which started on
March 7. Among these trainees, the first women's squash team
in the country's history will participate in the upcoming SA
Games, said a press release.

Coach Basit has made every effort to teach the intricacies
of squash with great dedication and to make the participants
more interested and motivated in squash.

Training is conducted in two shifts every day, which has
played an important role in improving the skills of the
participants.

The Bangladesh Squash Federation believes that if such
initiatives continue, the skills of domestic squash players
would improve and Bangladesh's squash will be able to build
a bright future at the international level.BSS
