Bangladesh Ansar emerge champions

Dhaka, 8 Sept - Bangladesh Ansar maintained their supremacy by emerging champions in both men's and women's sections of the 12th National 

Services Wrestling competition held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National 
Handball Stadium in the capital Monday.

In the men's section, Ansar won 10 medals including five gold, four silver 
and one bronze medals while Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) finished runners-up 
also securing 10 medals including four gold, four silver and two bronze 
medals. Bangladesh Police finished third position with 10 medals including 
one gold, two silver and seven bronze medals.
 
In the women's section, Ansar secured nine medals including five gold, three 
silver and one bronze medals while Bangladesh national team became runners-up 
with seven medals including three gold, two silver and equal number of bronze 
medals. Bangladesh Police finished third position with nine medals including 
one gold, four silver and equal numbers of bronze medals.
 
National Sports Council Director Mohammad Aminul Ahasan was the chief guest 
in the prize distribution ceremony and distributed the prizes among the 
winners'.
