Cute Handball League to begin Jan 28 in Bogura
Dhaka, 22 Jan - The Cute Handball League, organized by the Bogura District Sports Association (DSA), will begin on January 28 at the football ground adjacent to Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura.
Bogura Deputy Commissioner Toufikur Rahman is expected to inaugurate the league as the chief guest, while district league committee coordinator and joint member secretary of the technical committee Sayeed Ahmed will attend the opening ceremony as special guest.
Bogura DSA Member Secretary Akram Hossain will preside over the opening ceremony.
Following the round-robin league matches, the semifinals, place-deciding match and the final will be held on January 31.
A total of 10 teams, divided into two groups, will compete in the league.
The participating teams are:
Group A: Nishindara Fakir Uddin Handball Team, Police Line Handball Team, Seven Star Handball Club, HN Handball Club (White Team) and Master Handball Club.
Group B: Beat Handball Club, Talora Handball Club, HN Handball Club (Red Team), Shibganj Handball Club and Biyam Handball Club.BSS
