Bangladesh hockey team win preparation match

Dhaka, 19 May - Bangladesh hockey team beat Indonesia national hockey team by 2-1 goals in the preparation match held Thursday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In the proceeding, Khorshedur Rahman and Rakibul Hasan scored one goal each for Bangladesh.

This win must boost up the Bangladesh hockey team ahead of their opening match against strong Korea in the Asia Cup.
 
The preparation match was organized as part of training ahead of the Hero Asia Cup.

Bangladesh hockey team will play the second preparation match against India scheduled to be held on Saturday (May 21).

Bangladesh will start their Asia Cup campaign when they face upper ranked Korea in one tournament opener on May 23.
