Over 2,000 rohingyas arrested and sent back

Dhaka, Sept 3 -Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested over two thousand Rohingyas in a drive at several houses of St Martin in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.They conducted the drive from the evening till 110 pm following the order of the Deputy Commissioner, said DC Md Ali Hossain.
Later, the arrested Rohingyas were sent back to Myanmar in trawlers, he added.
Meanwhile, thousands of Rohingyas were still entering through several points including Amtoli border, Tumburu Border, Anjuman Para, Hwaikong Ghat, sources said. – UNB
