56 held in anti-drug drives in city

DMP in anti-drug drives detained 56 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Monday.



Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in anti-drug drives detained 56 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Monday.
During the drives, 3,804 Yaba tablets, 9.3  kilograms of hemp and 168 grams and 151 puria ( small packet) of heroin were recovered from their possessions, DMP media and public relations department office said.
A total of 36 cases were filed with the police stations concerned under the Narcotics Control Act.
