Youth's throat-slit body found beside road in N'ganj

Police on Monday recovered the throat-slit body of a youth from beside the road at Bandar upazila in Narayanganj.



Police on Monday recovered the throat-slit body of a youth from beside the road at Bandar upazila in Narayanganj district.
The deceased was identified as Ferdous, 21, son of Nazrul Isalm, a resident of Shuvokordi area in the upazila. He was a driver of a battery-run auto rickshaw.
Bandar Police Station officer in-charge Deepak Chandra Saha said locals spotted the body beside the road in Kandipara area this morning and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and it to Narayangaj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Initially it seems to be a murder, the OC added.
