A fugitive life-term convict has been arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Savar, outskirt of the capital.

Ripon Molla was arrested from Savar area on Wednesday midnight.
RAB-3 senior assistant police super Farzana Huque confirmed it early Thursday afternoon.
She said Ripon was arrested from Imandipur area of Savar.
Ripon hails from Babuganj in Barisahl district. He was an accused in a murder case filed at Pallabi Police Station in the capital. Then he was sentenced to life-term imprisonment in the case. Since the verdict, he had been absconding at different parts of the capital.
Legal action has been taken against him.
