Customs officials recovered 32 gold bars from a Dubai-bound passenger named Zia Uddin at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.



Customs officials recovered 32 gold bars from a Dubai-bound passenger named Zia Uddin at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.
The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation recovered the bars Thursday (March 23) morning.
The detainee Zia Uddin hails from Enayetpur area of Hathazari upazila in the port city.
Saifur Rahman, joint director of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department in Chattogram, confirmed the matter.
