Mitu Murder: Charge-sheeted accused Kalu arrested
Police has arrested Kalu, an accused in the charge-sheet of a case filed over the murder of Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, wife of former Superintendent of Police (SP) Babul Akhter.
Police has arrested Kalu, an accused in the charge-sheet of a case filed over the murder of Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, wife of former Superintendent of Police (SP) Babul Akhter.
Members of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested him from the Bishwacolony area of Chattogram city early Saturday.
Assistant Police Super of PBI Naima Sultana confirmed the news.
Mitu was shot dead near GEC Intersection in Chattogram on June 5, 2016 as she was taking her son to school.
PBI submitted charge-sheet against seven people including Babul on September 13 last year while the court accepted the charge sheet on October 10.
