Attack on Barnicat: Badiul Alam`s brother-in-law held
The police have arrested Mohammad Ishtiaq Mahmud, brother-in-law of Shushashoner Jonno Nagorik (SHUJAN) secretary Badiul Alam Majumdar, in the case filed over the attack on the former United States ambassador Marcia Barnicat.

Mohammadpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahfuzul Haque Bhuyian told risingbd that he was arrested from the capital’s Mohammadpur area on Wednesday evening.
The arrestee will be produced before the court Thursday (October 5).
On the night of 4 August 2018, the then-US ambassador in Dhaka, Marcia Bernicat, attended a dinner at the Mohammadpur residence of Badiul Alam Majumder. She was attacked when she was getting into the car after dinner.
