Three killed in Rohingya camp attack

The deceased were known as – Abul Kashem, 35, son of Abul Bashar, of Camp: 17, Block: H/77, Md Zobayer, 15, son of Md Ali, and Anwar Sadek, son of Md Shafi, of Camp: 15, Block: G/6.



At least three people were killed when miscreants attacked them in Rohingya camp in Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday night (December 5).

The deceased were known as – Abul Kashem, 35, son of Abul Bashar, of Camp: 17, Block: H/77, Md Zobayer, 15, son of Md Ali, and Anwar Sadek, son of Md Shafi, of Camp: 15, Block: G/6.

Police said a gunfight took place between Rohingya Salvation Army and Rohingya Solidarity Organization over establishing supremacy in the camp, leaving three people dead on the spot and injured others.

Ukhiya police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shamim Hossain confirmed the matter.

Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and the police team are conducting drives to arrest the terrorists, the OC said.
