48 bottles liquor seized, woman arrested in Kurigram



Kurigram, Apr 12 - Police have seized 48 bottles of foreign liquor and arrested a woman over drug peddling in Kurigram.

SP Ruhul Amin, media spokesman of Kurigram district police, said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive and arrested Mamata Begum along with 48 bottles of foreign liquor from her house at Dhaluabari Balabari village under Kedar union around 8:00pm. 

A case was filed with Kachakata Police Station.-UNB
