Ex-Detective DC Mashiur arrested: DB

Detectives arrested former deputy commissioner (DC) of Detective Branch (DB) Mashiur Rahman from the airport area in Dhaka on Thursday night.


Rabiul Islam, joint commissioner of the DB under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed the matter of the arrest, reports UNB.

The former DB official, also an additional deputy inspector general, was shown arrested in a murder case filed with New Market police station of Dhaka, he informed.
