DMP files 1,695 cases for traffic rules violation

The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)



Dhaka, Dec 30 - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,695 cases for traffic law violation during drives conducted in different parts of the capital.

The drives were conducted on Sunday by the DMP's Traffic Division, according to Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of the DMP.

Besides, 51 vehicles were impounded and 55 others were towed during the drives.

It also announced that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across the Dhaka metropolitan area.-UNB
