40 arrested from Mohammadpur, Dhaka

Police have arrested 40 people for their alleged involvement in various crimes from the city’s Mohammadpur area.


Mohammadpur Thana Police arrested them while conducting a special drive for four and a half hours till 12:30 am today in Mohammadpur's different areas including Royer Bazar, Board ghat, Nabinagar Housing, Chand Udyan and Dhaka Udyan, reports BSS.
 
During the drive, police recovered illegal drugs and various domestic weapons from their possessions. Police said the arrestees involved in drug dealing, robberies and terrorism.
