DB Chief Rezaul Karim removed, transferred to DMP HQ

Detective Branch (DB) Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Rezaul Karim Mallik, has been removed from his post and reassigned to the DMP Headquarters as Additional Commissioner.
The transfer was confirmed on Sunday by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Md Talebur Rahman, who described it as part of an internal reshuffle. “An official order regarding the transfer was issued from the DMP Headquarters on Saturday,” he said.
No replacement has been appointed for his position at the DB as of yet, Rahman added.
