Another arrested in Mitford Sohag murder case

Dhaka, July 15 – RAB personnel have arrested another accused in the murder case of Lal Chand Sohag who was killed in front of Mitford Hospital in the capital.

Lt Col HM Sajjad Hossain, Commanding Officer of RAB-11, said a special team conducted a drive around 2am in Narayanganj’s Bandar area and arrested the accused, Nannu, acting on a tip-off.

Nannu was one of four people seen in a viral video attacking the 39-year-old businessman with bricks and cement blocks to ensure his death.

With this, eight people have been arrested in the case so far.

Earlier, on Sunday (July 13), two other accused—Sajib and Rajib—were arrested from Dhaka and Netrokona.

They have been put on a five-day remand for interrogation.
