11 more AL activists arrested in city

The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested 11 more leaders and activists of fallen Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations including former ward councillor Sultana Ahmed Lipi from different parts of the city in the last 24 hours.


Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed arrests.

Earlier on Saturday, police arrested 21 leaders and activists of the AL and its front associations for their suspected involvement in sabotage, reports BSS.
